The Leisure Center of Veyrier opened its doors to the public in November 2016. Although our current budget does not allow us to host all of the activities that can be found at other centers, we can offer the following for now:
– Get-togethers open to all (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm, and Wednesdays from 9 am to 11 am)
Starting in September we will only be able to do Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm
– Childcare (4-12 years) on Wednesdays from 11 am to 6 pm (max. 12 children)
Mercredi des Mômes (Wednesday’s Kidsday)
– Two sociocultural projects: Le Bonhomme hiver (Jack Frost) in March, and Une Journée pour la Terre (A Day for Earth) in May
– Renting out our space for meetings or birthdays
– A program of classes and workshops (starting in September 2017)
– Community life (groups, committees, etc.)
– A local network
