About

Hello to who?
Hello to you, immigrants from all over who have recently arrived in Geneva.

Who is saying hello to you?
We are, the staff of the Hospice général. We are in charge of welcoming immigrants and helping them to integrate life in their new surroundings. We would like to offer you a warm “Hello”!

Why Hello?
Mainly to make your lives easier! Hello brings together on one site hundreds of useful addresses and additional information that will help you find what you need, advice, assistance, activities, opportunities to meet others, and much more. Hello is designed to help you to get your bearings in the city.

What will you find on Hello?
On this platform you will find all the practical information you need on life in Geneva along with the main topics having to do with the day-to-day challenges you face here.

You can consult the site on your smartphone, tablet and PC.

How to use Hello.

If you need help, please don’t hesitate to ask someone on the Hospice général staff for assistance. We’ll be happy to oblige!

Who is behind Hello?
Hello is the result of a joint effort between the Hospice général and the young designers Judith Hunziker and Fanny Giordano, both graduates of Geneva’s Haute école d’art et de design (HEAD). Maurizio Velletri, a specialist in web content management, oversaw the project, which was developed by devsector.ch. Several asylum seekers were also actively involved in creating the platform over the course of a number of workshops and discussions. We would like to extend our warm thanks to all of them.
