The association TESSERA took shape in early 2016 when officials announced that several hundred immigrants would be coming to the Commune of Veyrier (Canton of Geneva, Switzerland). The association was founded by a group of 9 people involved in various capacities in the political, religious, or associative life of Veyrier. Its mission is to offer an organized and responsible welcome to the newcomers that emphasizes our common humanity.
