On Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th, let’s meet for 2 fun activities focused on healthy and sustainable food in Geneva.
UNIGE is coordinating the Living Lab Jonction this summer. A participatory project conducted in the heart of Geneva to combat heat islands.
As part of this event, the University of Geneva and the Swiss Food Academy are joining forces to offer two awareness-raising workshops on nutrition in extreme heat.
We address this theme every year on social media, offering simple tips, but this time we’re offering two practical workshops for young and old alike:
On August 23rd from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. : Little Chefs Workshop for ages 6 and up, featuring a fresh seasonal recipe led by a local Geneva chef, Christian Volnin, who regularly leads workshops for children. Register on this page or at .
On August 24 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. : Educational workshop for all ages on the impact of sugary drinks on our health by deciphering the packaging of some popular beverages and discovering a juicy and delicious recipe using our juice bike!
