CONDITIONS FOR GRANTING A RESIDENCE PERMIT – B permit
- Normally, the possibility of requesting a B permit after 5 years of residency in Switzerland according to the level of integration, marital status, and whether a return to the country of origin is required or not (art. 84 al 5 LEI)
FAMILY REUNIFICATION
- Right to family reunification for spouses and single children under the age of 18, no earlier than 3 years after being granted temporary admission and on certain conditions: living in a commun household, having appropriate housing, not dependent on social assistance, being able to communicate in the national language spoken at the place of residence, not receiving any supplementary benefits at AVS/AI (art.85 al. 7 LEI).
